Costs

Our standard rate is £55 per hour plus a call-out charge, from £12.50, plus VAT.

The minimum charge will be for one hour plus call out.

After the first hour we charge byevery 30 minutes, to ensure your costs are kept to a minimum.

Remote control session costs are £55 per hour and the minimum charge is £27.50 plus VAT 

We reserve the right to charge a callout fee if an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

If the engineer arrives to find the call cancelled without any prior notice the cancellation charge will be one hour plus the callout fee.

How do I arrange a visit by an engineer?

Please call our office on 01932 267085, option 1, to book an appointment.

How do I pay?

We accept BACS, cash and credit/debit cards.

Payment is taken on completion of the work.

Do I get an invoice?

Once the job is complete you will be invoiced and immediately emailed a copy.

We are VAT registered and the invoice will reflect this.

Do we operate a No-Fix-No-Fee policy?

Our No-Fix-No-Fee policy means simply that if PC Help@Home Ltd does not possess the necessary technical knowledge or ability to resolve the problem or carry out the repair, then no charge is made.


Exclusions to the No-Fix-No-Fee policy


Should the customer request PC Help@Home Ltd not to proceed with a repair which it is able to effect to resolve the problem. In this case the customer must pay our minimum charge for diagnostics (£67.50 + VAT).


When PC Help@Home Ltd can resolve the problem or effect the repair, but the customer does not possess the required software disc or product key. If the computer’s Operating System is to be re-installed, the customer must provide PC Help@Home Ltd with an original licensed Operating System disc and/or a valid Product Key. In this case the customer must pay our minimum charge for diagnostics (£67.50 + VAT).


When PC Help@Home Ltd provides a clear and precise diagnosis of a failed component / software issue but the customer decides not to proceed with the replacement / repair. In this case the customer must pay our minimum charge for diagnostics (£67.50 + VAT).


The policy does not apply to data recovery, virus or spyware problems, issues with third parties or to cases in which the computer suffered from power surges.


PC Help@Home Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss of computer data, however caused, including any alleged loss occurring during data recovery although we do our utmost to preserve and protect.
